S. Carey shares details of forthcoming EP, Watercress
Singer-songwriter S. Carey has returned with the announcement of the forthcoming EP, Watercress, alongside the release of its title track.
“The music video for the title track, ‘Watercress’ gave me chills upon first viewing. Shot in Northwest Wisconsin, the place I call home, the images provide micro and macro views of the woods and waters that are so magical when you get up close and investigate. Just like a forest cut or burned, we all have the power to re-grow with the right care,” S. Carey explains.
In addition to being the longest-standing member of Justin Vernon's Bon Iver — and collaborating with Dylan Bizhikiins Jennings and Joe Rainey on the project Bizhiki — S. Carey's solo journey began in 2010’s All We Grow, and the new release is set to follow four albums, including the most recent – 2022’s Break Me Open.
