Ryan Beatty confirms fourth album Sweet Fortune with lead single “Secret Language”
Ryan Beatty has announced his fourth album, Sweet Fortune, alongside lead single “Secret Language”, the first glimpse of a record that marks the Grammy-winning songwriter’s return following a period of high-profile collaborative work.
Co-produced by Beatty and regular studio partner Ethan Gruska - known for his work with Phoebe Bridgers, Remi Wolf, and Conan Gray - the album follows 2023’s Bon Iver-featuring Calico album.
Since Calico, the California-born songwriter’s profile has sharpened considerably. He earned a Grammy for Album of the Year for his co-writing contributions to Beyoncé’s COWBOY CARTER, where he worked on four tracks including “Bodyguard” and “II Hands II Heaven”. Beyond that, he has accumulated credits with Miley Cyrus, Tyler, The Creator, and Bleachers.
Beatty debuted back in 2012 with the Because of You EP, which followed a series of popular cover songs posted to YouTube.
