Roscoe Roscoe announce debut album and share “Bossa 916”

East London wall-of-sounders Roscoe Roscoe have detailed their debut album, One Day I’ll Return To You With Loving Arms, arriving on 18 January 2027. The new instrumental single “Bossa 916” is out now.

The track is the band’s first fully instrumental release and follows up last year's standalone single "Before You Die", which arrived after a three-year break for the band. The new song takes its title from an AIR b-side, cited by the band as a key influence on the forthcoming new record. According to vocalist/guitarist Charlie Read Clarke, “It’s a journey – there is an obvious bridge between highs and lows and the song has a resolving theme which is a big part of the record’s arc and concept. Not that it is a concept album. We have been writing instrumental music for a long time before this and it feels great to show the world what feels like a big part of what the band is truly about and capable of.”

Roscoe Roscoe formed at The Brit School and have appeared at Glastonbury Festival, Left of The Dial, Manchester Psych Fest, and headlined the Green Man Rising stage. Their music has been played on BBC 6 Music by Lauren Laverne and Stuart Maconie, and on Radio X by John Kennedy. They have shared stages with The Orielles, Astrel K, Bdrmm, Tess Parks, Dummy, Spencer Cullum, White Flowers, and Tramhaus, and will headline St Pancras Old Church in London on 27 January.
