Robber Robber announce new album, Two Wheels Move the Soul
Robber Robber have revealed the details of their new album, Two Wheels Move the Soul, and shared opening track "The Sound It Made".
Two Wheels Move the Soul was written and recorded through the winter of 2024 and 2025, after the longtime home of singer Nina Cates and percussionist Zack James was demolished, leading the pair to seek support from the Vermont community, including artists Lily Seabird, Greg Freeman, and Thus Love’s Echo Mars. "The Sound It Made" follows their signing to Fire Talk in November, and previous single "Talkback", which came alongside the news.
The new album was recorded in Little Jamaica Studios, one of the places where Robber Robber recorded their 2024 debut album Wild Guess, offering a sense of familiarity for Cates and James. “Everywhere else that we had to be, we were very much visitors. When we were working on the record, it was nice because it felt like this is our space," James explains.
