Rilo Kiley announce first UK show in almost two decades
Los Angeles band Rilo Kiley have announced their return to the UK stage for the first time in 19 years, where they will headline London’s Roundhouse on 2 June 2026.
In a recent New York Times feature, the band shared about how a simple backyard barbecue in Los Angeles rekindled their friendship and eventually led to this reunion. “It couldn’t have happened any sooner,” said Jenny Lewis. “It feels like now is the time to share that joy and love with each other and with everyone else.” Blake Sennett adds, “For some people, Rilo Kiley evokes a formative, emotional time in life… reconnecting with those people is paramount to anything else.”
Formed in late 1990s Los Angeles, Rilo Kiley became one of indie rock’s most influential voices, over four studio albums, Take Offs and Landings (2001), The Execution of All Things (2002), More Adventurous (2004), and Under the Blacklight (2007).
Tickets go on sale on 24 October at 10am via metropolismusic.com, with a pre-sale available from 22 October.
