Remi Wolf confirms plans for upcoming album, Mud

The world of Mud was first introduced with lead single "Twiggy", which dropped last month. It follows her previous albums Juno and Big Ideas, and comes out of a period of reflection during which Wolf started questioning what she wanted to say and how she wanted to approach making music. During a retreat to Big Bear with longtime collaborator Jared Solomon and a small circle of trusted friends, she spent days writing songs and spending time with loved ones, which ultimately formed the album's core.

"I feel like I've crossed into a new phase of life because of this album," Wolf says of the album, which was mostly formed between New York's Electric Lady Studios and Joshua Tree. "I literally felt like I was covered in shit. And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear. It has been a very cleansing record to make for me."
