Radio Free Alice team up with Water From Your Eyes' Rachel Brown for new single, "Big Ideas"
Australian post-punk outfit Radio Free Alice have released their new song, "Big Ideas", featuring Water From Your Eyes vocalist Rachel Brown, the latest preview of their upcoming debut album, What’s In Between.
"Big Ideas" follows previous singles "Crying With You", "Rule 31", "Kick in the Shins", and "Lunch Money", and was first debuted last week at the band’s free, DIY pop-up show in Chinatown, LA — which was captured in the accompanying music video.
“From early on we felt that a second vocal would work well with the song, a kind of call and response,” singer Noah Learmonth says of how the collaboration came to be. “We’ve loved Water From Your Eyes for years, and had gone to their show when they came to Melbourne. We felt like Rachel would be perfect, they have such an interesting, distinctive voice.”
What’s In Between is released on 30 October via Atlantic Records
