Québec artists set to showcase across the UK this spring
Artists from Québec, Canada – including the likes of Geneviève Racette, Patche and Truck Violence (pictured) – will bring their music to the UK as part of Québec Spring, a series of performances and networking events aimed at showcasing the very best from the Francophone province later this month.
Québec has long been a breeding ground for influential artists, from Leonard Cohen and Céline Dion to contemporary acts like Kaytranada, Patrick Watson, and Charlotte Cardin - with Montréal in particular emerging as a key hub for musical innovation.
This year’s Québec Spring lineup spans the genres and includes:
- GEMINICRAB (soul)
- Geneviève Racette (francophone folk)
- Sorry Girls and Bibi Club (pop)
- Patche (avant-garde techno/krautrock)
- zouz (noise rock)
- Truck Violence (high-energy guitar music, signed to legendary Montreal label Mothland)
A special London showcase will also take place on 12 May at the Old Blue Last, featuring dream-pop act Ballsy and art-punk auteur Alix Fernz.

Running from 14 April to 25 May, the initiative is presented by M for Montreal in collaboration with the Québec Government Office in London, SODEC, and the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec (CALQ).
