Pulp to host pop-up at Manchester pub
Pulp have announced a pop-up at Manchester's Rat & Pigeon, to run between 28-30 August.
Announced as a three-day residency, the pop-up will coincide with Pulp's sold-out show at Wythenshawe Park show on 28 August, while also marking the release of their new live album, Live!. Open between 12pm -7pm on Friday (28); 12 to late on Saturday (29); and 12-2pm Sunday (30), it will feature a series of events, limited edition merch, music and competitions curated by the band.
There will also be a jukebox programmed by Jarvis Cocker with Pulp-themed events, while the venue will decorated with memorabilia from the band's archive. A special limited edition Wythenshawe Park T-shirt will be sold exclusively while stocks last, and there will also be a chance to win test pressings of Live!.

(responsibly) Do you want to hear some really good music coming out of a juke box? Do you want to learn something interesting? Yes? Yes, yes, yes? If you have a Thirst For Knowledge - this is the place for you. Bottoms up!"
