Pulp, Caroline Polachek, IDLES complete lineup for Hong Kong's Clockenflap Music & Arts Festival 2023
Clockenflap Festival has announced its full lineup for 2023, and it is set to return to Hong Kong from 1-3 December at the Central Harbourfront.
After a rapturously received return in March for the first time in nearly 5 years with a sold-out edition, Clockenflap returns to its acclaimed home at the end of the year - bringing together international legends, industry game-changers, the very best in thrilling Asian talent and the future favourites destined to soundtrack and define music culture for years to come.
Caroline Polachek is set to hit the stage at Clockenflap Music & Arts Festival 2023 alongside UK guitar bands IDLES, Yard Act and Squid. US hip-hop legends De La Soul will make a triumphant return, following their performance back in 2013. Tom Grennan, the big-time fizz of The Beths, feel-good fun of Tones & I or the rich mix of D4VD, Andy Shauf, BBNO$, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Peking Duk, Novo Amor are also part of the lineup.
Where Clockenflap shines is its tastemaker reputation to not only pick-out the artists from around the world already defining modern culture, but also to serve as the measuring stick for the very best in talent from across Asia. This year, led by one of the festival’s headliners Japanese superduo Yoasobi, the festival boasts one of the most influential bands in Chinese rock history Omnipotent Youth Society - playing back to back with another seminal Chinese punk force in The Fly. A rare opportunity to catch both playing together, and with the latter celebrating their 30th Anniversary.
Clockenflap Festival takes place between 1-3 December at Central Harbourfront, Hong Kong. Three-day weekend tickets and Friday single-day tickets are sold out. Saturday and Sunday single-day tickets priced at HK$1,280 are still available via ticketflap.com.
