Primal Scream will perform their 2000 album XTRMNTR in its entirety across a seven-date UK tour this September, following a one-off 25th anniversary show last year.

The run of shows begins with two nights at Glasgow’s Barrowland on 3 and 4 September, before moving to Newcastle’s NX (8 September), Nottingham’s Rock City (9 September), Manchester’s New Century Hall (11 September), Bristol’s Electric (13 September), and concluding at London’s HERE at Outernet on 15 September.

The announcement responds to demand generated by the group’s 2025 XTRMNTR anniversary performance at the Roundhouse, and follows Primal Scream’s recent Come Ahead world tour, which supported their 12th studio album, 2024's Come Ahead, heralded as a return-to-form record and among their best work.

Alongside the tour, the band have announced The Bunker Trilogy, a collection of expanded reissues of three cult-favourite records: Vanishing Point, XTRMNTR, and Evil Heat. Further information on the trilogy is still to be announced.

Outside Primal Scream, frontman Bobby Gillespie has been notably active. His 2021 memoir Tenement Kid won the NME Award for Best Music Book. Recent collaborations include writing lyrics for Paul Weller’s "Soul Wandering", a full duets album with Jehnny Beth titled Utopian Ashes, and work with Paranoid London, The Limiñanas, and Peter Perrett. He also composed his first film soundtrack for Émilie Deleuze’s Five Hectares.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on 17 April via the band’s website
