Taking place from 7-8 July, with a pre-party on the sixth, Ladyfest 2012 is set to play host to an array of talented women in aid of Womankind, One25, The Well and Rape Crisis. Designed to showcase female talent and creativity within the arts whilst promoting greater gender equality Ladyfest has, over the years, featured the likes of Sleater-Kinney, Cat Power and Gossip.

With most of the musical line-up focused on Saturday, Sunday sees the bulk of craft and film activity happening in the Stokes Croft area with screenings of Dreams of Life, workshops for safeguarding and understanding modern feminist issues, classes on creative writing and exhibitions by many of the performing artists.
