Pretty Sick reveals plans for new album, Anarchy
Pretty Sick — the project of NYC bassist, vocalist, and songwriter Sabrina Fuentes — has announced her second album, Anarchy, and shared new single “home2hide”, co-produced with Oscar Scheller and Frost Children.
Pretty Sick first previewed Anarchy with the 2025 single "Star". Today, "home2hide" arrives as the latest taster of the album, Pretty Sick's first full-length release since 2022's Makes Me Sick Makes Me Smile. The track was co-produced with Oscar Scheller (Lily Allen, PinkPantheress) and Frost Children, blending Fuentes' songwriting with the pulse of synths and bass.
Anarchy was mostly recorded with producer Scheller in Los Angeles, and draws from indie pop, shoegaze and rap as Fuentes uses electronic experimentation to delve into her rawest feelings. Speaking about the inspiration behind the album, she says it's "Not caring to follow rules, or meet expectations for any reason other than doing things for yourself — that’s the through line.”
