PISS sign to Sub Pop Records
Vancouver hardcore punk outfit PISS have announced their signing to Sub Pop for the world, and Paper Bag Records in Canada.
The quartet's signing to Sub Pop/Paper Bag Records arrives two years after their debut release, three demos, in 2024. PISS have made waves with their high-powered live performances combining music, poetry, sound collage, visual and performance art inspired by the voices of philosophers, filmmakers, painters, psychoanalysts, activists, and more, with their work tackling controversial issues of sexual violence and gender norms head-on.
While PISS have yet to announce any new material, they are set to tour the United Kingdom and Europe in May for a run of headline shows and festival appearances. This kicks off on 2 May at Liverpool's Sound City Festival, with further sets scheduled for FOCUS Wales, The Great Escape, Dot To Dot, End of the Road, and more.
