PinkPantheress to make acting debut in The Daniels' new feature film
PinkPantheress has been revealed as part of the cast for a new film by directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert — known as The Daniels — set for release on 19 November 2027.
The announcement follows a huge year for PinkPantheress (aka Victoria Walker), who was the youngest person and first woman to win the BRIT Award for Producer of the Year, received Grammy nominations for Best Dance Pop Recording for her 2025 single "Illegal" and Best Dance/Electronic Album for her 2025 album Fancy That, and has performed at Coachella, Primavera Sound, and more, in addition to her own "An Evening With PinkPantheress" UK/EU headline tour.
As she steps onto the big screen for the first time, she'll be in good company, starring alongside previously announced cast members Matt Damon, Sandra Oh, Charles Melton, Sean Kaufman, Silvia Dionicio, Jackson Kelly, Kerrice Brooks, Thalia Dudek, and Michael Gandolfini. While further details about the film have been kept hush-hush, it will mark a return by The Daniels, following the success of their 2022 film Everything Everywhere All at Once.
The Daniels are producing the secret film with longtime collaborator Jonathan Wang — who worked with the pair on Everything Everywhere All At Once and 2016's Swiss Army Man — through the trio's company Playgrounds under their overall deal with Universal, according to Deadline.
