PinkPantheress hits back at "false narratives" surrounding "Boy's a Liar"
Taking to her socials yesterday afternoon (12 November), PinkPantheress took a moment to clarify her feelings on her breakout single "Boy's a Liar", and the remix which featured Ice Spice.
Replying to a post from the PopCrave account which read: "PinkPantheress says her hit song “Boy’s A Liar” and the remix are “crap” – “They’re crap. The songs that are not my greatest are the ones that do better" – PinkPantheress wrote: "lord help us. I told the journalist I thought the OG was crap at first but the remix made me love it, I’ve said this openly before too. false narratives be like"
After seeing PinkPantheress' response, PopCrave clarified their post with another that says her "comments about “Boy’s A Liar” and its remix being “crap” were taken out of context by The Guardian's journalist Kadish Morris."

Last November, PinkPantheress released "Boy's a Liar" which was created alongside MuraMasa. Earlier this year, she recruited Ice Spice for "Boy’s a liar Pt. 2". Speaking of the collaboration, she said: "Working with this amazing woman on this remix was a delight from start to finish and the easiest collaboration i’ve ever made."
PinkPantheress just released her debut album, Heaven knows, revealed that she was at the cinema watching Jake Gyllenhaal's Nightcrawler, and because her date asked her to put her phone on silent, she ended up missing a phone call that was from Kendrick Lamar, wanting to get into the studio.
Heaven knows is out now via Warner Records UK/300 Entertainment.
