Picture Parlour reclaim their narrative with new single, "Talk About It"
Picture Parlour – AKA frontwoman Katherine Parlour and lead guitarist Ella Risi – have shared the brand new single, "Talk About It".
"Talk About It" is accompanied by a music video filmed during the band’s trip to Tokyo, evoking the nocturnal wonder of Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation.
Speaking on the story behind the track, the band share: “At a certain point, writing this song stopped feeling like an escape and started feeling like a mantra. Talk About It said everything we couldn’t be bothered to explain anymore. You can bring a horse to water but who knows if it’s going to drink? So instead we fucked off the horse and wrote an anthem for letting go. And now we want to share that euphoria with you.”
"Talk About It" marks the third single following the release of Picture Parlour’s debut EP Face In The Picture (2024). It serves as the successor to the "Cielo Drive" and "Who’s There To Love Without You?".
The band have just embarked on a grassroots venue tour across the UK in association with Music Venue Trust, and will perform a sold-out show at The George Tavern in London on 23 July.
"Talk About It" is out now.
