Phoenix tease new version of "After Midnight" featuring mystery artist
Phoenix have a new version of their Alpha Zulu song "After Midnight" landing later this week, and it features a mystery artist.
This afternoon (13 March) Phoenix started teasing a new version of "After Midnight" featuring an unnamed artist for this Thursday. "After Midnight" originally appeared on their 2022 album Alpha Zulu.
Fans in the comments are speculating who the mystery artist could be, with many people believing it'll be Clairo.
If true, the collaboration will mark both Phoenix and Clairo's first release of the year. Although Clairo hasn't released new music as the lead artist since 2021's Sling album, she did collaborate with Marcus Mumford last year.
Phoenix will release the new version of "After Midnight" this Thursday, 16 March.
