Peel Dream Magazine announce expanded edition of Taurus album
Los Angeles drone-pop project Peel Dream Magazine have announced they will release an expanded edition of Taurus on 11 November via Topshelf Records. Four previously unavailable tracks will be added to the 2025 mini album, including new single "Blind Faith", and it will be available on vinyl for the first time.
The release follows the band’s 2024 album Rose Main Reading Room and last year's deluxe edition of Modern Meta Physic, their 2018 debut. The expanded version of Taurus will feature four previously unavailable tracks - “Lot to Tell You”, “Ruins”, and “Fear of the Other” - plus the already released "Blind Faith".
Stevens says the song first sparked during the Rose Main Reading Room era. “I decided to put down the pen and didn’t revisit the song until earlier this year,” he said. “The song is kind of about wandering the maze of your own head, trying to escape the habits that lead nowhere.”
Peel Dream Magazine’s name references legendary British DJ and radio presenter John Peel, with the band experimenting around motorik krautrock, shoegaze, and space age pop since debuting in 2018.
A vinyl release show is scheduled for 12 November 2026 at Zebulon in Los Angeles.
