Paramore drummer Zac Farro announces live studio version of debut solo album, Operator
Zac Farro has revealed the details of his upcoming live album, Operator - Live In Studio, and released the title track with the studio video directed by AJ Gibboney.
Operator was initially released last year as Farro’s first album under his own name. The album is described as “a love letter” to the community that sounds Faro, combining 1970s rock and psychedelia as he questions how we can better connect with other people.
Operator - Live In Studio features live renditions of the songs, with in-studio videos for each track offering more insight into Farro’s studio process. Alongside the album announcement, he shares “Operator (Live)”, with its accompanying performance video.
Speaking about the album, Farro says: “Translating Operator to a live setting was a crucial part of sharing the album for me, I wanted every moment of the record to shine. There is nothing quite like the experience of musicians sharing the stage and hearing what each individual performance adds to the show.”
