Pabllo Vittar details her first English and Spanish-language album Lost In Lust

Both artists contributed to the writing, and Vittar was closely involved in the production.

“I love ‘Rockstar’ because it brings this funk-leaning vibe with really distinctive, super electronic elements – we experimented with a lot of new things, and Villano’s flow is incredible,” Vittar said in a press statement. “I was part of writing it and producing it and I feel like it’s the perfect song to open the doors to what’s coming on the rest of the album.”

Antillano, who made history as the first openly transgender and non-binary artist to enter Spotify’s Global Top 50, described the session as an easy fit. “A collaboration between Pabllo and Villano could only result in something very electrifying and visceral. Everything flowed naturally, and I’m so happy we got to share the studio and watch each other work.”

For Lost In Lust, Vittar assembled a team of LGBTQ+ producers and songwriters, aiming for a sound that pulls from pop, dance and electronic music while keeping Brazilian influences in the mix. She said the title captures a central thread. “Lust is a world of constant pressure on us and our bodies. It makes us lose ourselves – in our own feelings, in anxiety, in promises, in false loves, and often in our own refuge. That’s what the title captures: lost in this enchantment that is lust. That’s why we chose electronic music – I think it tells the story well.”

The announcement arrives in a busy stretch for Vittar, who has spent the last few years cementing her status far beyond Brazil. Her 2017 debut Vai Passar Mal and its singles “K.O.” and “Corpo Sensual” made her a household name at home, and collaborations with Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Major Lazer, Anitta, Sevdaliza, and Rina Sawayama followed. Festival slots at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound and a landmark appearance alongside Madonna at Copacabana Beach in 2024 have all expanded her global footprint. In 2025 she launched the DJ project Club Vittar, taking it to Europe and the US this year.

Antillano, meanwhile, is readying her own album Ante el Umbral del Peligro No Siento Temor for 28 August, a record she has described as a direct response to the escalating political persecution of trans people. Her appearance on “Rockstar” continues a run of high-profile collaborative moments following her breakthrough on Bizarrap’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 51”.
