Oscar Jerome and anaiis join forces on new single, "Smell the Daisies"
Oscar Jerome has shared his new single, "Smell the Daisies", featuring singer-songwriter and producer anaiis, as the latest offering from his forthcoming new album, The Fork.
“I wanted to work with Anaiis for a long time. She has been a good friend for years and I’ve always admired her creativity. I just needed to make sure it was the right track. I knew she would be able to add something insightful and heartfelt to this song,” Oscar Jerome explains.
“The track is about how our addiction to individualism and misguided tribalism has led most people to no longer feel true empathy. War is a money making machine. We are all having the wool pulled over our eyes and fighting while the rich get richer and innocent people suffer as numbers on a screen are completely ignored. Until we shift this individualistic mentality to the collective there can never be real long lasting change.”
Oscar Jerome recently announced his most extensive headline tour to date across the UK and Europe, including a night at Scala in London, as well as dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Brighton, Oslo, Berlin, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Madrid, and more.
The Fork, is set for release on 4 April via New Soil.
