Oscar Browne of Broadside Hacks shares new single "Cut Me Off"
London-based singer and multi-instrumentalist Oscar Browne has shared his new single "Cut Me Off".
"Cut Me Off" follows on from Browne’s 2022 standout debut single "Never Quite Right", and is produced by Ali Chant who’s other recent work includes Katy J Pearson, Aldous Harding and Sorry.
Speaking of the track, Browne says: "When someone close to you begins to accuse you of lying and suddenly cuts you out, without giving you any chance to defend/explain yourself. The song focuses on that frustration and loneliness. The lyrics are all the things I wanted to say but were never heard.”
Oscar Browne is a founding member of pioneering London collective Broadside Hacks, whose alumni include Katy J Pearson, Gently Tender and Naima Bock. Since 2022 debut single "Never Quite Right", he has been busy supporting acts such as Gently Tender and Prima Queen around the UK.
"Cut Me Off" is out now via So Young Records.
