OR releases new track, "Ombra de Ninja (Balearika Mix)"
OR — the project of Catalan producer, electronic musician and DJ John Talabot — has released "Ombra de Ninja (Balearika Mix)", the latest preview of his upcoming album, Music for Empty Stadiums.
"Ombra de Ninja (Balearika Mix)" is an experimental dance track that lands as the second preview, following previous single "Nokik Messiah", building upon Talbot's question of: “What might the most euphoric possible variant of ambient sound like?”
Music for Empty Stadiums will contain some of Talbot's first new music in over a decade, showcasing what is described as a more "left-field" side of his work. With no concrete narrative, the upcoming seventeen-track collection of songs is identified as Talbot's most substantial work yet, chronicling a time in which Talbot worked to navigate a period of "homebound ambient" that emerged in 2020.
Music for Empty Stadiums is released on 30 October 2026 via AD 93
