Brighton sextet Opus Kink release new single "I'm A Pretty Showboy", teasing plans for their debut album to be released in 2026.
Opus Kink have shared "I'm A Pretty Showboy", the lead single from their debut album set for release next year - the name of which has yet to be revealed.
"Here is our song, rock and roll music for the empty and stunning. A song about contempt, appetite, impotence and self-preservation through gyration. Enjoy superficially with your body and send the reeling mind on to hell! There is a world in which blues-riff basslines, big-band horns, Black Sabbath breakdowns, Samuel Beckett, breakbeat and trad folk refrains live happily together, perhaps not the one we live in, yet here we are. The first song recorded of what might be considered a ‘collection’ of some form. Stay with us now. On me, sailors!” frontman Angus Rogers says of the track.
"I'm A Pretty Showboy" arrives after an extensive summer of touring through the UK and Europe, preceding Opus Kink's biggest headline show to date at Electric Ballroom on 7 November.
