Oneohtrix Point Never shares new track, "Measuring Ruins"
Oneohtrix Point Never – AKA Daniel Lopatin – has shared "Measuring Ruins" as the latest offering from his forthcoming album, Tranquilizer.
"Measuring Ruins" joins recent singles, "For Residue", "Bumpy", and "Lifeworld", which accompanied the announcement of Oneohtrix Point Never's forthcoming album, Tranquilizer, which follows the 2023 full-length release, Again.
Speaking about the record, Lopatin says: “It’s a record shaped by commercial audio construction kits from a bygone era— an index of cliches turned inside out. It is a return to a process-oriented form of music making for me that I felt best evoked a certain kind of madness and ennui in the heart of culture today.”
Tranquilizer, is set for release digitally on 17 November via Warp Records, and is available to pre-order via warp.net.
