Oklou announces choke enough Deluxe and teams up with FKA Twigs on new single, “viscus"
Oklou has announced plans for choke enough Deluxe and shared new single, "viscus", featuring FKA Twigs.
Following the release of her debut album choke enough earlier this year, French vocalist, producer, and composer Marylou Mayniel - known as Oklou - has announced that she will be expanding upon choke enough with a deluxe edition. It will include four new songs, including new single "viscus" featuring FKA Twigs.
The collaboration arose from a HighSnobiety conversation between the pair, in which they shared their difficulties with stomach issues - to which FKA Twigs noted, "We'll write a song about being a tummyache queen!".
"viscus" arrives ahead of a sold-out North America tour, as well as a run of UK/EU dates that will include a performance at London's Pitchfork Music Festival (7 November), with further stops in Manchester (30 November), Glasgow (1 December), and Dublin (3 December).
It is accompanied by a music video directed by Gil Gharbi, which will premiere at 6PM BST.
choke enough Deluxe is due for release on 30 October via Because Music / True Panther.
