Nova Twins reimagine "Anxiety" by Doechii
Alt-rock duo Nova Twins have released a cover of Doechii’s viral track, "Anxiety", as part of the Spotify Singles series.
Speaking of the cover, Nova Twins said: “Doechii is such a visionary, whose creativity is really pushing things forward. When we were choosing a track to cover, ‘Anxiety’ stood out because it’s already been flipped, which made it more of a challenge. We wanted to push ourselves and step outside our comfort zone.”
This release is timed to coincide with Glastonbury, as both Nova Twins and Doechii are confirmed to perform at the festival this year, playing Woodsies and headlining West Holts respectively.
Nova Twins' forthcoming album, Parasites & Butterflies, is set for release on 29 August via Marshall Records, and is available to pre-order now via novatwins.co.uk.
