Norah Jones, Mavis Staples and Brittney Spencer feature on Lucinda Williams' new album, World's Gone Wrong
Three-time Grammy Award winner Lucinda Williams has announced her forthcoming album, World’s Gone Wrong, alongside the release of its title track, featuring Brittney Spencer.
Throughout nine original tracks, Lucinda Williams offers a timely cover of Bob Marley’s "So Much Trouble In The World", which is duet withMavis Staples. The bluesy "How Much Did You Get For Your Soul" revisits the spiritual reckoning of Williams’ 2020 release Good Souls Better Angel. The album closes with "We’ve Come Too Far to Turn Around", featuring Norah Jones on piano and harmony vocals.
Lucinda Williams returns to the UK and Ireland for a run of dates in 2026. Kicking off at the 3Olympia Theater in Ireland on 26 January, the tour will see Lucinda back at London’s Barbican on 3 February, ahead of stops in Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.
