Ninajirachi and Porter Robinson team up on new track, "WannaCry"
Electronic artists Ninajirachi and Porter Robinson have released their new collaborative single, "WannaCry".
"WannaCry" was first debuted at Coachella, and teased at further live shows and festivals, including Primavera Sound, EDC Las Vegas, Dark Crystal, and more. The track is a full-circle moment for Ninajirachi, whose very first concert as a teenager was Robinson at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
Combining Robinson's electropop sound, Ninajirachi's production, and a shared appreciation for computer music, "WannaCry" was written from the perspective of the 2017 ransomeware virus of the same name. It sees them shine a creative light on digital youth culture, which they will continue to share on stage. Ninajirachi is currently touring extensively across North America, Europe, and Australia, while Robinson will be playing a few shows in the United States between August and November.
"WannaCry" is out now on NLV Records
