Night Flight to release surprise fourth album Pursued By A Bear alongside final show this Friday
London folk rock band Night Flight have announced they will release a surprise fourth album, Pursued By A Bear, on 16 October – the same day as their final show before an indefinite hiatus.
The band's farewell tour begins on 13 October at The Bodega in Nottingham and culminates in sold-out London shows at The Grace on 15 October and The Courtyard Theatre on 16 October.
Night Flight announced their hiatus earlier this year: “The reality is that it’s become too difficult to keep making and releasing the music we want to make. Between the financial and logistical challenges, we’ve reached the point where we simply can’t make it work any longer.”
Pursued By A Bear brings together singles, B-sides, demos, and live sessions from across their career. “In stark contrast to our third record, Exit Stage Left, which was meticulously put together in the studio, this album is something of a compilation of Night Flight over the years.”
