Nia Smith returns with new song, “Mr Right”
R&B and soul artist Nia Smith has released her new single, "Mr.Right".
"Mr. Right" is Smith's first new music since her second EP, Payback Is A Dog, released earlier this year. On the track, she considers the loneliness of being surrounded by love, confronting questioning and longing.
"Mr Right is a song for those who can’t seem to find their person, while being surrounded by people who have," Smith explains. "It follows the loneliness of watching everyone around you fall in love and wondering when it’ll finally be your turn. I made it in LA with Kamal (Wilson) and Jonah (Christian) and it felt like a magical session. I picked up the guitar and the song sort of wrote itself."
