Nia Archives joins forces with Clipz on new single, "Maia Maia"
New-gen jungle artist Nia Archives has released her new single, "Maia Maia", a collaboration with Bristol DJ and producer, CLIPZ.
Speaking on the single, Nia Archives shares: “Clipz and I wanted to capture some Brazilian junglist energy with ‘Maia Maia’, drawing inspiration from legends like DJ Patife and DJ Marky. When we hit the studio, our vision was to create a track that could feel like the soundtrack to the 2026 World Cup. I’d come across this incredible samba group sample, paired it with an old Juno-106 I’d just picked up, and from there, ‘Maia Maia’ was born."
"Maia Maia" blends the energy of Brazilian carnival with cutting-edge jungle production. The track has been teased across festivals and online all summer, with DJs including Nia, CLIPZ, Shy FX and Sherelle playing it out to huge crowd reactions. Only a few weeks ago, she also played the track at Notting Hill Carnival, B2B with CLIPZ.
Nia Archives has also just announced her biggest UP YA ARCHIVES Warehouse Project takeover to date on 15 November.
"Maia Maia" is out now via Up Ya Archives.
