Tomorrow (9 November) New York City will celebrate RZA and the Wu-Tang Clan with the lighting of the Empire State Building in their iconic black and yellow colours to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

Exploding on the scene with their seminal debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) on Nov. 9, 1993, the collective of rappers, RZA, GZA, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, U-God and Masta Killa, changed Hip-Hop forever.

Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) has become one of the most highly acclaimed albums in Hip-Hop history, reached platinum status within a year of its release and is now triple-platinum. Last year, the album was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." Only 25 albums are selected each year to be included in the Library of Congress.

RZA and the Wu-Tang Clan are also announcing today a new partnership with Rock The Bells and SiriusXM. Launching 29 November RZA will present #WuWednesdays, a new weekly show on LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells on SiriusXM channel 43. Hear new and classic tracks from all Wu-Tang Clan members, plus exclusive DJ mixes, interviews and more. On the first episode, RZA will spotlight Wu-Tang's unforgettable show that took place on 10 August in Queens, New York for SiriusXM's Hip-Hop 50 celebration.

In addition, and in partnership with Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, Get On Down is set to unveil a special edition 7-inch box set of Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), featuring a limited-edition LP and a limited-edition cassette, and a 60-page liner notes book titled "The Shaolinothology" with RZA interviews, rare photos, and album lyrics, as well as a pack of 30th Anniversary "36 Chambers Trading Cards".

All three limited edition 30th anniversary items will be available to order at midday tomorrow via getondown.com.
