Neneh Cherry announces debut memoir, A Thousand Threads
In celebration of her 60th birthday, Swedish singer-songwriter Neneh Cherry has announced her forthcoming debut memoir, A Thousand Threads.
Announcing the release via her socials, Cherry wrote: "Turned a new leaf into another chapter! 3x20 = now I’m 60 and what a magnificent birthday it’s been! I’m really happy and slightly terrified to announce that I have written a book".
A press release for the forthcoming memoir shares that Cherry looks back at the "collaborations, the highs and lows, the friendships and loves, and the addictions and traumas that have shaped her as a woman and an artist". A Thousand Threads celebrates the power of love and the joy of creativity. "Above all, it is a call to arms: to own your journey and always take a stance".
