Neil Young backtracks on pulling out of Glastonbury Festival
Earlier this week, in a message posted via Neil Young Archives, the musician revealed that he had pulled out of his as-yet-unannounced slot at Glastonbury 2025
"We will not be playing Glastonbury on this tour because it is a corporate turn – off, and not for me like it used to be," Neil Young shared of his decision to pull out of the festival. "Hope to see you at one of the other venues on the tour."
Now, in a newly shared statement via Neil Young Archives, he wrote: “Due to an error in the information received, I had decided to not play the Glastonbury festival, which 1 always have loved. Happily, the festival is now back on our itinerary and we look forward to playing! Hope to see you there.”

"He does things his own way and that’s why we love him. We can’t wait to welcome him back here to headline the Pyramid in June," the festival shared in their own statement, despite neither party revealing what caused the change of heart.
The 2025 edition of Glastonbury takes place from 25-29 June at Worthy Farm.
