This announcement sees a new wave of people join the line-up, including British musicians Celeste and Leigh-Anne, Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna, Palestinian musician Saint Levant, Palestinian-Jordanian London-based artist El Far3i, actors Amer Hlehel, Benedict Cumberbatch, Charithra Chandran, Guy Pearce, Jameela Jamil, Motaz Malhees and Ramy Youssef, writer and host Amelia Dimoldenberg, documentarian and broadcaster Louis Theroux, and Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos.
British electronic band Portishead have come together to record a special one-off performance of their poignant song "Roads" with a string quartet, which will be aired during the evening as they are unable to attend in person. Speaking about their involvement, the band explain “We are incredibly honoured to stand in solidarity with Palestine and be part of this crucial event. The genocide must stop.”
The new additions join the likes of Bastille, Brian Eno, Cat Burns, Damon Albarn, Greentea Peng, Hot Chip, James Blake, Jamie xx, King Krule, Mabel, Obongjayar, Paloma Faith, Rachel Chinouriri and Sampha alongside Palestinian artists Faraj Suleiman and Nai Barghouti and special appearances from PinkPantheress, Rina Sawayama and Riz Ahmed.
The ‘Together For Palestine Fund’ aims to raise millions of pounds with 100% of the ticket price (excluding all additional fees) and all donations being paid to Choose Love. Every penny raised will be distributed to Palestinian-led organisations such as Taawon, Palestine Children's Relief Fund and Palestine Medical Relief Service.
Tickets are sold out, but supporters are encouraged to make donations to the Together For Palestine Fund which aims to raise millions for Palestinian-led humanitarians.
