Nadah El Shazly signs to One Little Independent and announces new album, Laini Tani
Egyptian-born, Montreal-based artist has announced her forthcoming second album, Laini Tani, alongside the release of new single, "Ghorzetein".
The meaning behind "Ghorzetein" is reflected in its English title, "Two Stitches". El Shazly says: “This I believe is the first track that I wrote on the record. I made this beat on ableton, and added the synths, and everything came together pretty fast. The song is very loosely about a heart that loved twice, and will be broken twice, so will need to be stitched up twice. The ending of the song, as it speeds up and with all the percussion added, is like a CPR for the heart.”
