Mynolia signs to Full Time Hobby and shares new single, “Run Like Hell”
Folk singer-songwriter Mynolia has announced her signing to Full Time Hobby and released her new song, "Run Like Hell".
Mynolia's signing and new single follow the release of "Needle", featuring guitarist Spencer Cullum, back in May. “Run Like Hell”, co-produced with ambient jazz instrumentalist Rich Ruth, expands the artist's sound into mystic folk territory as she delivers her critique on authority.
In addition to contributions from Ruth, the track features All Them Witches' Michael Parks Jr. on bass, Cullum on pedal steel, Pete Pételle and Florian Holoubek on drums and percussion, Corin Droullard on horns, Sam Que on flute, and Patrick McGonigle on violin and mandolin, with backing vocals from Taylor Wafford. It also arrives alongside a music video directed by John Birrell.
Discussing the single, Mynolia explains: “‘Run Like Hell’ is a challenger song, a tongue-in-cheek call out of the powerful, the system and the individual. I think a rebel spirit is important and it can, and should be, allowed to manifest in various ways.”
"Run Like Hell" is out now on Full Time Hobby
