Myer U Clark releases nautical new track, "Simple Sailing"
Bristol indie folk singer-songwriter Myer U Clark has shared "Simple Sailing", the final preview of his upcoming album, Tinderbox.
"Simple Sailing" follows previous singles "Healers" and "Make A Bet" as the latest preview of a collection of songs that showcase Clark's diverse palette, which draws inspiration anywhere from Skip James to A.G. Cook.
Speaking about the single, Clark shares, "'Simple Sailing' is a song about things going wrong out of the blue and the ability of one’s spirit to centre itself during these times - I tried to communicate this through the metaphor of a boat steadying itself after not reaching its destination. It’s also got more contemporary pop chords than I previously have written with.”
Tinderbox is released on 26 June via Broadside Hacks Recordings
