Murex shares new single, "Mothers Bells"
Swedish artist Murex has released "Mothers Bells", the latest preview of her upcoming debut album, Inventio, due in September.
"Mothers Bells" sees Murex honouring her mother, referring to imagery of bells that hung in her mother's hallway, as she explains: These bells, hung up so high so I could always see them, were leading me the right way." The track also comes alongside a self-directed video, in line with Murex's work as a visual artist.
"I never wanted to make a record that comes up with the answers or solutions," Murex says of how the song reflects the album's purpose. "It is most about wanting to understand, connect, and forgive."
Inventio is released on 25 September via Young
