MUNA take on Chappell Roan's queer anthem, "Good Luck, Babe!"
All Things Go Festival took place in Columbia, Maryland, over this past weekend (28-29 September).
"Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks, and I am really feeling it. I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now, and I need a few days to prioritize my health," Chappell Roan wrote in a statement a few days ago, announcing that she was no longer able to perform at the festival.
During their own performance, alongside songs such as "Stayaway", "Number One Fan", "Silk Chiffon", and "I Know A Place", they paid tribute to Chappell Roan by performing "Good Luck, Babe!".
"We're really grateful that y'all came to celebrate with us, and at the same time, we also acknowledge that somebody very special is missing tonight," vocalist Katie Gavin said, ahead of introducing their cover. "We just need to say that we love Chappell so much, and we started as a queer band in 2014, and we've really been given the time and grace that we needed to be nourished as artists. We wish nothing but that times one million for her."
Chappell Roan recently brought the Midwest Princess tour to London.
