MUNA announce deluxe edition of Dancing On The Wall with Avalon Emerson remix
LA electropop trio MUNA have announced a deluxe edition of their latest album, Dancing On The Wall, out on 13 November via Dead Oceans. The news is paired with an Avalon Emerson remix of the title track.
The deluxe edition adds four remixes: from Avalon Emerson, Romy, Arlo Parks, and Porches. The original 13-track album was released in May and was produced by the band’s own Naomi McPherson.
MUNA said of the Emerson remix: “We really revere Avalon as a DJ and we were so excited that she was down to do something for this song. We love when a remix almost unveils new melodies and meanings in a song, and she definitely was able to do that here.”
The band are about to set off on a Europe and UK tour, including two nights at London’s Eventim Apollo, with the second London show added due to demand. See full details of all UK/EU November shows on their website.
