Researchers at Slingo have explored which songs from the Saltburn soundtrack have seen the biggest increase in searches.

The most-searched song from the Saltburn soundtrack is The Killers classic hit, "Mr Brightside". The track accompanies Felix and Ollie as they embark on an impromptu road trip that leads to a surprising visit to Ollie's parents' house. It's a pivotal moment in the film which serves as somewhat of a plot twist. The second most-searched song is "Low" by Flo Rida feat. T-Pain. Originally released in 2007, this was Flo Rida's debut single, and was also nominated at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Male Video and Best Hip-Hop Video.

Dom Aldworth, Head of Branding Marketing at Slingo comments: “There’s no doubt that Saltburn is the must-see movie of the moment. The acclaim and performances by its leading stars is a major draw-in but its 2000’s soundtrack has clearly resonated with audiences. Enough time has passed since this era that these songs can be looked back on with a sense of nostalgia.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor recently shared her thoughts on having her song "Murder On The Dancefloor" feature in the closing scene of Emerald Fennell's film Saltburn, accompanying a nude Barry Keoghan as he dances around a manor house. The track featured on her 2001 debut album, Read My Lips, and is her most successful song to date.

"Barry really went for it. And it's, like, the whole song! I didn't really know exactly how it would play in terms of the role it was in the movie until I saw it at the screening, but I absolutely loved it," she said to People after she watched the film. Following the iconic scene, Ellis-Bextor's track is the third most searched from from the soundtrack.

Saltburn is out now.
