Morgan Nagler balances optimism and melancholy on new single, "Hurt"
Los Angeles-based artist Morgan Nagler has released "Hurt", the final preview of her debut album, I've Got Nothing to Lose, and I'm Losing It.
"Hurt" follows previous single "Heartbreak City", released last month, as the latest expression of the upcoming album's overall mood of what Nagler describes as "realist hope".
The track was co-written with Suzy Shinn, alongside producer Kyle Thomas on vocals and guitar, Gabe Noel on bass, Josh Adams on drums, Meg Duffy on outro slide guitar, and Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino, Allison Crutchfield, and Madi Diaz on backing vocals.
