Mitski releases new single, "I'll Change for You", and announces global performances
Mitski has released "I'll Change for You", the second single from her upcoming album Nothing's About to Happen to Me, alongside the announcement of global performance dates.
The new track follows lead single "Where's My Phone?" released last month, and is accompanied by a music video directed by Lexie Alley, building upon the Tansy House world of a reclusive woman in her messy home, where she is ultimately free.
In addition to releasing "I'll Change for You", Mitski has announced that she will present Nothing's About to Happen to Me with residencies in select cities, which will include six nights at The Shed in New York City, five nights at Hollywood High School in Los Angeles, and four nights at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, in addition to dates in Mexico City, Istanbul, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and London, with one show at Royal Albert Hall on 21 May. Mitski will be joined by Sex Week, Gustaf, La Zorra Zapata, Haley Heynderickx, Canozan, Maria Somerville, Tarta Relena, Gwenifer Raymond, and more across the residencies.
Nothing's About to Happen to Me is released on 27 February via Dead Oceans
