Miso Extra unveils MICHELLE-produced single, "POP"
Japanese-British singer and producer Miso Extra has shared "POP" as the latest single taken from her forthcoming debut album, Earcandy.
Speaking about the single, which features production from members of indie-pop collective MICHELLE, Miso Extra says: “POP is about the feeling of finding something SO cute you want to squeeze it till it pops! It’s a journey into a sugar fueled take on the pop genre, sonically inspired by NewJeans and CHAI.”
Earcandy was written and recorded over the course of last summer with Ricky Damian – Grammy-winning engineer known for his work with Ezra Collective, Jorja Smith and Sampha – at Damon Albarn’s Studio 13.
Earcandy is set for release on 16 May via Transgressive, and is available to pre-order now.
