Miley Cyrus announces tenth album, Bass Persuades
Miley Cyrus has detailed her upcoming album, Bass Persuades, ahead of her October performances at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Bass Persuades follows Cyrus' 2025 album Something Beautiful, and marks a new era for the singer — who has seemed to embrace a name change as just “Miley” — following brief teasers on Instagram. The album is said to continue to honour the influence of her late godmother Dolly Parton, who died last week at the age of 80. Moving across pop, rock, country, and soul, the album also features collaborations with Model/Actriz and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow.
Next month, Cyrus will also be making a return to the stage for two nights at the Hollywood Bowl on 16 and 18 October. Tickets will be available for various presales from 8 September at 10AM PST (6PM BST), before going on general sale on Thursday, 10 September at 10AM PST (6PM BST).
