Midrift announce debut album, Silhouette
San Francisco shoegaze band Midrift have revealed the details of their debut album, Silhouette, and shared the album's opening track, "over anything".
Formed by vocalist and guitarist Gus Mehrkam, and brothers Manoa on bass and Kai Neukermans on drums, the teen trio released their self-debut EP Midrift in 2022, followed by Leave in 2023. Today, "over anything" arrives as the fourth preview of their upcoming full-length album, followed by previous singles "reaching for you", "tell me everything", and "safe and sound".
Silhouette features ten tracks which serve as an opening statement from Midrift, expanding across shoegaze, punk, and into greater reaches of alternative rock.
