Michael Cloud Duguay details upcoming album, Kingdom Come, Kingdom Go
Producer and composer Michael Cloud Duguay has announced his upcoming album, Kingdom Come, Kingdom Go, and shared lead single "Winterhouse", featuring Scions.
Kingdom Come, Kingdom Go follows Duguay's 2025 project Wobbly Yonder, and chronicles seven different church organs found in seven different historic churches in rural areas of Newfoundland, Canada. "Winterhouse" arrives as the first taster of the album, and was recorded was recorded on the organ of the Memorial United Church in Bonavista, Newfoundland, featuring vocals from Cormac Culkeen of Scions, another project of Duguay's.
The album was recorded across nine days with a mobile, solar-powered recording studio, The Scamper, built into a converted 1970's RV in July 2024 with collaborators Jake Nicoll (owner of The Scamper who engineered and contributed flute and vocals), Andrew MacKelvie (compositions, organ, saxophones, flute, piano, rocks) and Dave Grenon (field recordings, co-engineer and co-producer).
